Brief Update

A busy weekend...didn't get around to any new pictures.  Here's a brief textual update.

We're slowly reducing the amount of masonite on the floors.  The main part of the kitchen, and the main part of the living room are now free of masonite.

I didn't put together any Ikea furniture today, but there is still lots of this in my future, including bookshelves and a larger bureau that I'll need for the bedroom.

Saturday means another trip to Preston Hardware, this time to look for a new showerhead for the main bathroom.  The one we had wanted will be on back-order until late January, so it was time to switch to something else.  While there, we also ordered all the towel bars, toilet paper holders, etc for the two bathrooms.  Then it was off to Universal Appliances to check out a couple of things on the store's demonstration stove and range hood.  We'll need a service call to get a couple of adjustments made to ours so they work more like the ones in the store.

Sunday, we had a mostly unsuccessful trip to Home Despot, and also went to the Glebe Emporium to get a fry pan to replace the one we (temporarily) can't find.  We were planning on a new pan anyway, since the old one is a bit warped on the bottom.

There's lots of new stuff to see in the house, I just need to get off my duff and get some pictures to post.
