Back Home

No extra plumbing or painting yesterday, but we're back home nonetheless.  That should be the last time we need to move out, and hopefully the "camping factor" will be much reduced one week from now.

Some pictures...

We won't be driving our island this winter, so we've put it up on blocks

Housecamping goes spartan.  The only place to sit, unless you sit on the floor.

The old floor and the new floor blend nicely together.

The less said about this, the better

The first casualty of the bed shuffle.  The box spring that won't go down the basement stairs.

Simone's closet, with sliding doors

the last days of the purple walls, to be replaced by a "plum" and white walls.

the view out Simone's window.

the main bathroom is full of stuff, but you can see the grout has been done in the tub/shower.

We'll be sleeping in the new bedroom tonight.   This is the new Ikea bed (made of styrofoam I think).  The monolith has ben painted grey.
