these are the panels for the outside of the shower. Not sure they are the correct frosted glass, though.
The gray-green that we are using in the loft space is making its way to other places in the house. Here, the upstairs hallway. You can also see the leaded-glass window between the hallway and Jane's office. This pane used to be in the upper sash of the old dining room window, removed to make the entrance between the dining room and the kitchen.

and speaking of downstairs...the baseboards and window trim have been redone, and the door to the storage room has been changed. In this case, one of our surplus old doors was cut down to size. All the interior doors in the house are now the same two-panel style.
the laundry room is really coming along. We'll be painting this room ourselves.
The downstairs bedroom. Just need some laminate for the floor and some plywood for the bed.
the faucet has been installed on the island sink. Like the other kitchen faucet, this one is also Swiss, made by KWC. For the benefit of our Swiss reader, this is probably the last bit of new Swiss content in the house, except of course for tasty food and warm socks.
The side of the island facing the stove has a long wire shelf where we keep our pots, pans, wok, etc. at the ready. We still have to find a good system for the lids, but on the whole this is going to work very well. When you approach the outside door that leads into the kitchen, you get a glimpse of this view as well. Still to be installed: there is a board that goes underneath the top of the island, recessed a little. This will have electrical outlets mounted at either end. The board is finished with the same laminate that is used in the divider behind the pots, and in various other places in the house.
That stuff on the floor you don't recognize is the hardwood :-)
We have the chairs and table from the reading room in the sitting area of the kitchen.
