A hodge-podge of news today, devoid of pictures.
- The main kitchen sink is now hooked up, and we actually did the dishes tonight without having to go downstairs.
- Also hooked up is the plumbing for the espresso machine. With a bit of minor coaxing, I was able to get the coffee maker online tonight. It needs a good cleaning that, alas, will have to wait until the espresso machine cleaner comes to the surface.
- Carrying on with the plumbing news, the toilet in the main bathroom is installed. No place to be washing one's hands yet, though. The faucet and spout the tub are also in.
- Bath vanity installation in the ensuite is partway done.
- The island is back down from being on blocks, so we have a table surface we can use. The silicone glue for the island sink has set, so the clamps have been removed.
- Gerald's wife Linda came and started cleaning things up. She'll be back tomorrow as well.
- Kitchen appliances including the FBMB (Fire Breathing Mini Behemoth) are still set to arrive tomorrow, as is the new mattress.
- Paint cans are in Simone's room.
I'll try and get some pictures tomorrow of all the new stuff.
