If all has gone according to plan, the floors should be done by now, and there will be plumbers and painters in the house today. We'll stop by later to take a look at things, and perhaps get a few pictures for the blog.

The tile work in the main bathroom is almost done. In real life, most of the grout has been done as well.
The side of the island that faces the stove has a large open shelf for stockpots, woks, etc.
