Enough words, let's get to the photos.
new drywall in my office (the old kitchen)
the new kitchen
The reveal between the bulkhead and the ceiling is straight and even, after much fiddly work.
the window into Jane's office from the upstairs hallway. We plan to put one of the panes of diamond glass from the dining room windows in here.
and looking back from Jane's office to the upstairs hallway.
a deep niche in the tub/shower of the main bathroom.
and a not-so-deep niche in the shower of the ensuite bathroom
the back of each niche will be done in glass mosaic tile. Ensuite on the left, main bathroom on the right
New shapes emerging. I really like the slab of exposed brick up in the bedroom.
drywall finish work around the windows
The red steel beam hangers will be left exposed.
Looking towards the future. Even on an overcast day, the kitchen gets lots of nice natural light.
