Quest For Juice

Thanks to Jane, our makeshift kitchen is now pretty nicely set up.  We have a dining table, a couple of tables for small appliances, and small areas for food prep and storage.

Of course, camping kitchens in the living room are no match for an actual kitchen, especially in the plumbing and electrical departments. 

For plumbing, we have a 18 litre water bottle system for drinking and cooking water, and various rubbermaid tubs and pails to accumulate dirty dishes and waste water from cooking and the coffee maker.  Actually doing the dishes means a trip downstairs to the laundry sink or the bathroom sink.  The large rubbermaid tub we use for dirty dishes happened to fit nicely in the laundry sink.

Electrically, yes you can have a fridge, toaster oven, espresso machine, coffee grinder, and electric fry pan all in your camping kitchen.  Yes you can turn on lots of them at once, Yes you will trip the circuit breaker, though.  We managed to move the fridge to another circuit, so we just have to be careful to not use too many of the other appliances at once. 

In the non-electrical dept, we also have a butane fired hot plate, and a gas BBQ.
