Moving on to insulation

The electrical, plumbing, and HVAC rough-ins are mostly complete, and we are getting the spray-foam insulation for the roof tomorrow.  Also today, someone was working on cleaning up the edges of the exposed brick in the kitchen and bedroom, in preparation for finishing and drywall.

The vent hood for the kitchen arrived today.  Unfortunately, both pieces had problems.  The hood itself had some nasty scratches on it, and will be replaced.  The faux chimney piece is too long.  This turned out to be our fault, but for some most annoying reasons.  Looks like we'll be sending this over to Ridalco to get cut down to size. <grrr/>

Tomorrow, we also get the first electrical inspection done.

We're now accumulating an ever growing collection of paint chips for various interior and exterior materials.
