Back to Logistics

While we were packing up the house, we had a break from looking for tile, flooring, etc.  Now that the interior work is drawing nearer, we're back to looking for fixtures, etc.

Today, we were off to good ol' Preston Hardware to finalize the order for bathroom plumbing fixtures.  This is all set, except for the showerhead in the main bathroom.  We're waiting until the guys get a bit further into demolition, and we can see the structure of things.  Then we'll know whether the showerhead placement will be wall or ceiling, and can order an appropriate shower head.

A month ago when we had all the water come through the electrical box, we weren't the only ones in town to be having issues.  The roof of the newly constructed plumbing showroom at Preston Hardware leaked like crazy, and some ceiling collapsed and everything.

We had a very good meeting with Frank, our kitchen guy.  We're working though the cabinet layout, island size and placement, and material choices.  It's gonna be really interesting to see it all take shape.
