Just renovation stuff today. We didn't have any contractors working in the house, but Jane and I were busy nonetheless. First a trip to the Big Swede to return various and sundry things and pick up various and sundry other things...mostly wall hooks. It was much busier there than either of us would have predicted. Then on the way home, we stopped by the paint store to get more paint for the studio. From here on in, I guess Hampton Paints will replace either Preston Hardware or Olympia Tile on the standard errand list.
Jane had been painting my office over the holidays, and the girls had been doing some painting in her studio. Today, she and I started on some of the larger walls in the studio. Everything went on well, and tomorrow we'll be doing some of the office space adjacent to the studio.
Jane has also been installing some of the aforementioned hooks purchased at Ikea.
Here, in the vestibule for the kitchen entrance. They are similar in appearance to the pulls we used for the laundry room cabinets and bath vanities.
seven hooks, seven inches apart, and seven inches down from the top.
There are also two of these inside the broom cupboard, but you can't see that from here :-)
Look for more of these hooks to appear in various places around the house.
