The tile backsplash in the kitchen is all installed and grouted now. A bit of caulking/painting left to do, but that's minor.
Slate tiles near the entrance have been sealed, with a product that gives them the "wet look" all the time.
The island now has a smooth finish after all the sanding and coats of polyurethane over the weekend.
