All that stuff you don't get to try because you're on a trip

At the Jean-Talon market a few weeks ago when we were in Montréal.  Always a "must go" place even though we can't buy half the things there.

The market was chock-a-block full of late summer veggies.

 

 

This chile vendor was also visited recently by other members of our household.

 

Air-dried sausages from a small charcuterie vendor from Îles-de-la-Madeleine I always pick up a thing or two from there to take back.

 

 

and these cookies (sadly not tried) were from a Turkish food stand that also had large boxes of what appears to be homemade Turkish Delight.
