The blog has been very quiet lately, mostly because I've spent virtually all of January on a new "stupidity project" that is not yet finished. I consider stupidity projects to be things you do for the love of them where there is no other way to justify the sort of time and effort you put into them. Previous stupidity projects included building the flagstone patio, and fixing up a beaten-up restaurant espresso machine to make it run again.
