Some Actual Progress

Still no progress on the permits related to the storm sewer work.  Latest word is the city has misplaced the paperwork.  Oh joy.

Inside, things have moved forward, though.  The downstairs bathroom is basically done.  We may put a splash of colour on the right-hand wall, and Gerald still has some work to do to make the shower faucet handle fit on properly, but other than that we’re good.

Among the upgrades to the bathroom, one really nice change is the fan was replaced with one that runs much quieter, and actually vents to the outside of the house.

Jane painted everywhere, I sanded the ceiling and fixed the leaky toilet.  Centennial Glass put in the shower glass this week.
