Aside from a few "fun" images, most everything from the kitchen shoot had to either "show the kitchen", "show the cabinetry", or "show the counters". This should come as no surprise given the target audience for the images, and explains somewhat why certain aspects of the space were treated lightly, if at all. In particular, the exposed brick walls, the loft, and the seating area by the big window received little or no attention.
These next two images are for "show the cabinets". I wanted to get a few images that showed all the grain-matched walnut veneer on the lower cabinet doors and drawer-fronts.

I took care to make sure there were a number of specific images that concentrated on the soapstone, since the wider "establishing shots" of the kitchen tend to show only the edge of the counter, and often towards the background of the image.
