More from around Woody Point

The place where we stayed was a traditional Newfoundland home.  None of us shot any pictures, but you can get the idea from their web site.  The place was fairly well equipped, except for a cutting board of any sort.  I’d brought a chef’s knife with me, but was assuming there would be a board.  Instead, it was “apologies in advance” to the knife and then chopping on a cookie sheet for 3 days.  We made a couple of dinners there, and ate out two nights as well.

The fish plant.

a partial shot of the village.  This was taken later on in the trip when I went on a boat tour of Bonne Bay.
